I received the purple hearts for Christmas. I am 5'6" and weigh 135 lbs. According to the size chart I am a small. The small fit me perfectly...but that means I had no room to move. Standing up was fine, sitting down was not. I returned (sucks because you pay restocking fee) and got a medium. The leg length is the same, just the torso is longer. I like it for sitting around. The feet do NOT have grip, so be careful. I LOVE my jammies. I do not sweat in them and they are very, very soft...even after several washes.So, if you want a perfect fit-go with the chart. If you want a more loose fitting pj, you might want to go up a size. I was at the top of the small scale which is why I changed for a medium. Sweet dreams
